Japan’s Ministry of Defense reported an incident with Russian strategic bombers that approached the country’s airspace.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is noted that two Tu-95 aircraft, accompanied by Su-35 fighters, flew along the western coast of Japan over the Sea of Japan, passing near Sado Island, after which they changed course and flew north.<\/p>\n

In response to the potential airspace violation, the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force scrambled fighter jets to intercept.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Defense has released a map of the flight route of Russian aircraft, which indicates their activity near Japanese territory.<\/p>\n
