The administration of US President Donald Trump has prepared a new package of sanctions against Russia. Restrictions could be applied to the banking sector and oil infrastructure if the Kremlin does not end the war in Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

American officials have clarified that the sanctions could affect key sectors of the Russian economy. In particular, they are aimed at restricting the financial operations of Russian banks and infrastructure related to the transportation and sale of oil.<\/p>\n

Washington also called on its European partners to increase their own pressure on Moscow. According to journalists, the United States supports the European Union’s initiative to use frozen Russian assets to purchase American weapons for Ukraine. In addition, the White House is considering the possibility of using a similar mechanism for assets located in the United States.<\/p>\n

While it is not yet clear when Washington will implement the new restrictions, analysts believe the administration has already prepared a “full toolkit” to further increase pressure on Moscow. This reflects a shift in rhetoric from Trump, who imposed sanctions on Russian oil companies for the first time since returning to power in January.<\/p>\n

European allies are closely watching the White House’s actions. They hope that Trump will continue his tough line on the Kremlin and are preparing their own sanctions initiatives.<\/p>\n
