The discount will be valid for six months \u2014 from November 2025 to April 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/anre.md\/index.php\/anre-consolideaza-cooperarea-regionala-in-domeniul-gazelor-naturale-3-1148\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the National Energy Regulatory Agency of Moldova (ANRE).<\/p>\n<p> The agency has approved a decision that will ensure stable natural gas supplies to Ukraine. The tariff reduction is part of a joint initiative by the gas transmission system operators of Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The initiative is aimed at strengthening regional energy security and ensuring the supply of natural gas to Ukraine,&#8221; the agency noted.<\/p>\n<p> The decision provides for a tariff reduction for the Moldovan operator Vestmoldtransgaz. A similar discount will be applied by the Romanian operator Transgaz.<\/p>\n<p> This decision is expected to reduce Ukraine&#8217;s logistical costs for gas imports, allowing the country to increase fuel purchases using the same financial resources.<\/p>\n<p> The discount is of particular importance given that, due to Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, Ukraine plans to increase gas imports to get through the winter.<\/p>\n<p> It was previously reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/kabmin-zasekretyv-obsiahy-ta-sumy-importu-hazu-dlia-opaliuvalnoho-sezonu\/\">Ukraine is urgently resolving the issue of additional gas imports<\/a> due to production losses.
