Fighters of the separate assault regiment “Skelya” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cleared the village of Yehorivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region from a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group. During the operation, dozens of occupiers were destroyed, and the Ukrainian flag was raised over the settlement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service<\/a> of the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

According to the military, a large group of Russian infantry entered Yegorivka. Assault units of the “Skelya” regiment immediately set out to clear it.<\/p>\n

“The Russians sat in their huts until the last moment and did not show themselves, even when they saw our soldiers nearby,” the fighters said.<\/p>\n

During the assault, Ukrainian forces surrounded enemy positions, pelted the occupiers with grenades and conducted aimed fire from grenade launchers. According to the military, after the battle, the area was “cleaned up to the last detail.”<\/p>\n

As a result of the operation, dozens of Russian soldiers were eliminated in the village itself and its surroundings. The “Skelya” unit repelled all enemy attempts to break out of the encirclement.<\/p>\n

Currently, there are no occupiers in Yehorivka, the Ukrainian military is in full control of the settlement. The national flag of Ukraine is flying over the village again.<\/p>\n

By the way, as of October 26, 2025, Ukrainian soldiers liberated 185.6 sq. km of the territory of Pokrovsky district<\/a> of Donetsk region and cleared 243.8 sq. km. Despite this, the situation remains difficult, as the enemy is increasing offensive forces.<\/p>\n
