After a dam was hit in the Belgorod region, water spilled into the floodplain of the Seversky Donets River. This complicated the work of the Russian military, as they were at risk of flooding.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was stated<\/span><\/a> on the air of Suspilny by the head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Group, Viktor Tregubov.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis somehow affected their overall combat capability. They then had to change some plans,\u201d he noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

The strike on the reservoir had a positive impact on the situation in the South-Slobozhansk direction – in the Vovchansk district of the Kharkiv region.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Tregubov, the Russians now also have logistical problems that will require them to change their plans and reduce their activity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite this, the situation in Vovchansk remains difficult at the moment. The occupiers are making attempts to break into the city from the west.<\/span><\/p>\n

They are currently unable to do so, but the enemy is making great efforts. Tregubov suggested that flooding would make the situation a little worse for the Russians.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Let’s remember what happened to the Russians when a dam burst in the Kyiv region and some Russians were cut off from their own people. Of course, we’re not talking about that right now, but it’s a bit difficult to organize your actions when you’re already in the water,” he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, drones struck the Belgorod Dam, which led to serious damage to the dam<\/a> and a sharp drop in the water level in the Seversky Dinka.<\/p>\n

By the way, the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdy, reported that after the strike on the Belgorod Reservoir, the water level dropped by approximately 100 centimeters<\/a> .<\/p>\n
