On October 28, at around 3:00 p.m., a powerful explosion was heard on Ternopilska Street in Khmelnytskyi. Previously, a domestic gas explosion occurred in a residential high-rise building.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As Inna Hlegha, head of the communications sector of the National Police Headquarters in Khmelnytskyi region, reported in a comment<\/a> to Suspilny, emergency services and a police investigative and operational group went to the scene.<\/p>\n

According to Oleksandr Kostyuk, director of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, three ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Local media reported that the explosion destroyed the top three floors of the building.<\/p>\n

“The entire entrance is most likely not(!) suitable for living, there is no electricity supply in the nearby houses,” writes the Telegram public “Real Khmelnytskyi.”<\/p>\n

Information about possible deaths or injuries is being clarified.<\/p>\n
