In Khmelnytskyi, on October 28, an explosion occurred in a residential building. The blast wave destroyed part of the high-rise building. During the night, during a rescue operation, the bodies of two people were pulled from under the rubble.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Tyurin.<\/p>\n

“At night, we received a message that another person may be under the rubble. Unfortunately, the information was confirmed – the dead have been found,” Tyurin noted.<\/p>\n

According to him, as a result of the explosion in a house on Ternopilska Street, rescuers discovered:<\/p>\n

at 02:24 \u2014 the body of a woman born in 1973;<\/p>\n

at 05:12 \u2014 the body of a man born in 1983.<\/p>\n

The deceased were sent for a forensic medical examination to determine the exact cause of death.<\/p>\n

Additional units were involved in the elimination of the consequences of the incident, including the GMRC mountain rescuers and the special DELTA unit.<\/p>\n

“Rescue operations continue around the clock. All services are working in a coordinated manner, helping people and clearing the rubble,” the head of the OVA added.<\/p>\n

As reported by “Suspilne”, as of 7:00 a.m. search and rescue operations were completed. The causes of the explosion are currently being investigated.<\/p>\n

Let us remind you that on October 28, at around 3:00 PM, a powerful explosion was heard on Ternopilska Street in Khmelnytskyi.<\/a><\/p>\n

As previously reported, five people, including one child, were injured in the explosion.<\/a><\/p>\n
