Beijing is obstructing attempts by the Ukrainian defense industry to import Chinese electronic components necessary for the production of drones, which are actively used on the front against Russian troops.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the German publication NTV, citing Ukrainian experts and representatives of the defense industry.<\/p>\n

According to Yuriy Lomikovsky, co-founder of the Iron network of Ukrainian and international defense companies, the Chinese government even prohibits the supply of components through allied countries such as Poland and the Baltic states, understanding that they could end up in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The restrictions concern engines, batteries, and flight control systems for drones, without which the production of Ukrainian precision weapons is significantly complicated. Lomikovsky noted that currently about 60% of drone components are imported from China, and this poses serious risks to defense programs.<\/p>\n

Military analyst Hendrik Remmel of the German think tank GIDS emphasizes that Ukrainian drones are not only causing losses to Russian troops, but also putting economic and social pressure on the Kremlin. “The strategy of using precision weapons is gradually bearing fruit,” he said.<\/p>\n

Ukraine is trying to circumvent the restrictions by attracting European capacities of American companies, as well as developing the localization of drone production within the country. Lomikovsky stressed that this requires investment from Europe and international cooperation.<\/p>\n

Despite China’s claims of “neutrality,” Chinese components have repeatedly been found in Russian weapons, including drones. The EU and the US have also expressed concerns that Chinese companies are helping Russia circumvent sanctions, particularly in the energy sector.<\/p>\n

Recall thatChina has sharply increased the supply of critical parts for the production of fiber-optic drones, significantly strengthening Russia’s ability to wage war against Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine recorded the facts of China’s transfer of satellite data to Russia, which was used to launch missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine.<\/a> In response, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that they were “unaware of such a situation,” but refrained from a clear denial.<\/p>\n

In addition, Europe is increasingly facing provocations, attacks, and information pressure from Russia. China is gradually joining this hybrid aggression.<\/a><\/p>\n
