The Ukrainian delegation participated in the first Drone Warfare Summit, which was held October 27\u201329 in Subic Bay, Philippines. The event brought together representatives of defense agencies, manufacturers, and the military from across the Indo-Pacific region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As reported by<\/a> Defence Blog, within the framework of the summit, the Ukrainian team presented the concept of the FA v1 jet unmanned fighter – an innovative development that demonstrates Ukraine’s growing technological potential in the field of unmanned systems.<\/p>\n

The FA v1 is an experimental jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicle capable of speeds in excess of 250 km\/h.
Its flight range reaches 30 km, its maximum altitude is about 5,000 meters, and its detection radius of air targets is up to 15 km.<\/p>\n

The drone has a two-wheeled layout, typical of modern small fighters, which provides it with high maneuverability and stability during flight.<\/p>\n

During the speech, Ukrainian representatives also shared their achievements in the field of:<\/p>\n

countering electronic warfare (EW);<\/p>\n

integration of autonomous systems into multi-domain operations;<\/p>\n

development of artificial intelligence for drones.<\/p>\n

These solutions are aimed at increasing the effectiveness of unmanned systems in modern conflicts and their interaction between air, ground, and sea platforms.<\/p>\n

The Subic Bay summit was the first event of this level in the Philippines, where the key topic of discussion was the role of unmanned systems in the wars of the future – in the air, on land, at sea, and even underwater.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian participation in this forum emphasized that our country remains one of the leaders in innovation in the field of military drones, continuing to develop technologies capable of changing the balance of power on the battlefield.<\/p>\n

Recall that Ukrainian F-16 fighter pilots are actively adapting the tactics of dispersed actions and are already demonstrating results in countering enemy drones and cruise missiles<\/a> . According to pilots and analysts, it is on the battlefield in real conditions that our aviation is the first to practice techniques that the United States is only beginning to integrate into its practice.<\/p>\n
