The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has expanded the list of categories of persons eligible for deferment from mobilization in the \u201cReserve+\u201d application.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> the press service of the defense ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n

From now on, men who are raising a minor child on their own will be able to apply for a deferral online, provided that one of the parents has died or lost parental rights.<\/span><\/p>\n

To receive a deferral, you must first submit a request to “Reserve+”, then the system will check for the presence of grounds for a deferral. If there are any, it will be provided automatically, and information about this will appear in the electronic military document.<\/span><\/p>\n

Typically, the process takes from a few minutes to a few hours. There is no need to visit the CCC.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that in order to obtain a deferral of this type, it is necessary that the State Register of Civil Status Acts reflects current information about the child and the death or loss of parental rights of the other parent.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf this data is missing, you must contact any convenient department of the DRACS with the relevant documents,\u201d the department explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ministry added that as of now, 10 types of online deferrals can already be issued in the mobile application.<\/span><\/p>\n

We would like to remind you that a new opportunity has appeared in the \u201cReserve+\u201d mobile application<\/a> – online registration of a deferment from mobilization for parents of children with disabilities, regardless of the child’s age.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Ukraine may introduce a new basis for deferring mobilization<\/a> . The initiative provides for exemption from conscription for citizens who have sheltered at least two internally displaced persons free of charge.<\/p>\n

As you know, the Government of Ukraine has introduced automatic extension of military deferments<\/a> and the ability to issue documents in digital format. This decision will simplify the process for over 600,000 citizens and reduce the burden on territorial recruitment centers.<\/p>\n
