On the night of October 31, Russian forces launched a massive air attack on Ukraine, using an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 145 drones of various types.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian Air Force reported<\/a> this.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to military officials, the missile was launched from Russia’s Rostov region, while the drones were flying in the directions of Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and from the temporarily occupied towns of Chaudy and Gvardeyskoye in Crimea.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

About 90 of the 145 drones were Shahed, the rest were other types of attack drones, notably Gerber.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Ukrainian air defense destroyed 1 ballistic missile and 107 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Despite this, 36 strikes by attack drones were recorded in 20 locations. The attack continues in the morning, with several enemy drones in the airspace.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of October 31, Russian troops attacked railway<\/a> infrastructure in two Ukrainian regions \u2013 Sumy and Kharkiv. The strikes damaged Ukrzaliznytsia facilities and rolling stock, and one passenger train was forced to divert.<\/p>\n
