The United States has canceled a planned meeting between President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Budapest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The decision was made after Moscow put forward overly harsh demands on Ukraine, which proved unacceptable to Washington.<\/p>\n

According to the publication’s sources, the cancellation of the summit was the result of a “tense” telephone conversation at the highest diplomatic level between the parties.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on October 16, after a telephone conversation, Trump and Putin announced their readiness to meet within two weeks, choosing Budapest as the venue for the negotiations.<\/p>\n
