Russian units in the Kharkiv direction suffer serious losses and continue to fight in extremely difficult conditions – without proper support, in summer clothing, and with meager rations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is stated<\/a> in a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) dated October 30.<\/p>\n

ISW analysts confirm that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have recently advanced in the eastern part of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, and have likely liberated the village of Kindrativka. At the same time, Ukrainian troops have also improved their positions in the northern Sumy region.<\/p>\n

The Russians continue offensive operations in the north of the Kharkiv region, however, according to ISW, the enemy has not achieved any confirmed success.<\/p>\n

Russian military bloggers affiliated with the Sever group report that wounded soldiers of the 1009th Motorized Rifle Regiment, which is fighting in the center of Vovchansk, are complaining about orders from the command to continue assaults “to exhaustion” despite heavy losses.<\/p>\n

According to the military, they are still wearing summer uniforms, do not have enough food, and are forced to buy equipment at their own expense. Company commanders are demanding money from their subordinates for drones and communications equipment.<\/p>\n

In the Liman direction, the Russian army loses more than twelve soldiers every day in unsuccessful assaults. According to Oleksandr Borodin, spokesman for the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy attacks in small groups of infantry, reducing the intensity during worsening weather, when the effectiveness of the use of drones decreases.<\/p>\n

ISW notes that despite active attacks, Ukrainian units are holding their positions and even having local successes.<\/p>\n

The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed the alleged capture of Sadovoye and the advance towards Kupyansk, but ISW analysts found no confirmation of these statements.<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian military also denied Russian reports about the presence of occupiers in the Santurynivka neighborhood of Kostyantynivka. According to the spokesman for the Eastern Command, Hryhoriy Shapoval, Russian groups continue unsuccessful attacks and suffer significant losses.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovskoye direction, Russian troops are trying to gain a foothold on the eastern outskirts of the city, but control over the territories has not changed. Ukrainian military forces are destroying the enemy with artillery fire and drone strikes.<\/p>\n

In the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, the occupiers were unable to advance.<\/p>\n

We will remind you that due to the critical situation in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate were sent there.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, on the morning of October 29 , the Russian occupiers tried to demonstrate their presence in Pokrovsk by installing the tricolor on the entrance ceiling of the city<\/a> . However, within an hour, the symbol of the occupiers was eliminated.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that the Russian occupation forces are increasing pressure in the Pokrov direction, in particular, the situation in the city remains complex and dynamic.<\/a><\/p>\n

As is known, Russian troops are suffering significant losses in the Pokrovsky and Dobropol directions, and Ukrainian defenders have captured more than 2,200 occupiers since the beginning of the year.<\/a><\/p>\n
