According to him, even if Pokrovskaya falls, the global situation on the front will not change significantly.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This is reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.err.ee\/1609844439\/kiviselg-lahipaevil-pokrovsk-veel-ei-lange\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ERR<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> Kiviselg noted that Russia is currently focusing its main forces on capturing Pokrovsk. At the same time, he stressed that the possible capture of the city will not affect the overall course of hostilities.<\/p>\n<p> According to the colonel, the first possible scenario involves <strong>a temporary ceasefire<\/strong> . According to Kiviselga, neither side currently has sufficient potential for a decisive breakthrough, so the fighting can be stopped, but only for a certain time.<\/p>\n<p> The second scenario, according to him, is related to <strong>internal problems in Russia<\/strong> . If the socio-economic situation in the country deteriorates significantly, the Kremlin may agree to peace talks. At the same time, according to Kiviselg, achieving Ukraine&#8217;s 1991 borders will remain an extremely difficult task.<\/p>\n<p> The third option, which the colonel called &#8220;the most realistic,&#8221; is <strong>to continue the war in its current format<\/strong> .
