An updated procedure for processing and extending deferrals from mobilization has come into effect in Ukraine. Most processes are now carried out automatically or online through the state application “Reserve+”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.<\/p>\n

It is noted that over 720,000 deferrals have already been extended without additional action by citizens. For this, data stored in state registers was used.<\/p>\n

Over 80% of applications are submitted through the “Reserve+” application, without the need to provide references or personally visit institutions.<\/p>\n

Those who continue to use paper documents now submit applications not to territorial procurement centers, but to administrative service centers. Today alone, the ASCs have accepted almost four thousand applications.<\/p>\n

The Minister urged citizens to use digital services for convenience and speed of registration.<\/p>\n

“If you have the opportunity, apply for a deferral through Reserve+. It’s faster and more convenient,” Shmyhal noted.<\/p>\n

According to him, the new order aims to ensure transparency, eliminate the human factor, and reduce the risk of abuse. It will also free up the CCC so that they can focus on their main task, which is ensuring mobilization.<\/p>\n

“We continue digitalization for the sake of the army’s efficiency,” the Minister of Defense added.<\/p>\n

By the way, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has expanded the list of categories of persons eligible for deferment<\/a> from mobilization in the \u201cReserve+\u201d application.<\/p>\n

Let us remind you that a new opportunity has appeared in the \u201cReserve+\u201d mobile application<\/a> – online registration of a deferment from mobilization for parents of children with disabilities, regardless of the child’s age.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Ukraine may introduce a new basis for deferring mobilization<\/a> . The initiative provides for exemption from conscription for citizens who have sheltered at least two internally displaced persons free of charge.<\/p>\n

As you know, the Government of Ukraine has introduced automatic extension of military deferments<\/a> and the ability to issue documents in digital format. This decision will simplify the process for over 600 thousand citizens and reduce the burden on territorial recruitment centers.<\/p>\n
