On the night of November 2, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned aerial vehicle forces launched another successful strike against the Russian Federation’s energy infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdi “Magyar”.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, the attack was carried out by the “Birds” of the 1st Separate Center of Unmanned Systems Forces, which was transformed from the 14th SBS Regiment.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Five enemy electrical substations were hit overnight. The targets were located deep within enemy territory, as far away as Gryazi in the Lipetsk region,” Brovdi noted.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Judging by his comment, “500,500,500 kV,” the strikes hit the highest-voltage main substations. The total combined capacity of the affected equipment, according to Madyar, is 5066 MVA (megavolt-amperes).<\/p>\n

The commander clarified that the operation had a “5 out of 8” result, meaning five of the eight planned targets were destroyed. One of the attacks, he said, was carried out jointly with the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Special Operations Forces.<\/p>\n

“Light\/warmth – BA-DA-BOOM – dark\/wintery,” Madyar commented ironically, addressing Russians, whom he called “worms.” “Blackout isn’t scary.”<\/p>\n

He also reported that other deep-strike units had also been operating that night, delivering effective strikes on “Bolotnaya Nalivaykas” – likely oil depots or oil refineries – and other strategic targets on Russian territory.<\/p>\n

“Information about these hits is already spreading online. The General Staff will release official details and confirmation after further reconnaissance,” the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces concluded.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of October 22 , the Defense Forces attacked a number of strategic facilities in Russian regions, specifically, the Saransk Mechanical Plant and the Makhachkala Oil Refinery.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, on Sunday, October 19, the Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery, located in the Samara region, halted operations as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones.<\/a><\/p>\n
