The decision was made during talks between the defense ministers of the two countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PeteHegseth\/status\/1984747624461975576\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was announced by<\/a> US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.<\/p>\n<p> Hegseta noted that he had spoken with Chinese Minister of National Defense Admiral Dong Jun. The talks began at 4 a.m. Kyiv time and lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes. After the meeting, the heads of state left without making statements to the press.<\/p>\n<p> US President <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/torhovelna-napruha-mizh-ssha-ta-kytaiem-spala-podrobytsi-uhody-trampa-i-si\/\">Donald Trump later announced an agreement with Chinese leader Xi Jinping<\/a> to temporarily lift export restrictions on rare earth metals, part of a broader year-long trade deal reached at a summit in South Korea.<\/p>\n<p> According to Trump, the meeting was \u201cincredible\u201d and deserves a \u201c12\u201d on a scale of 0 to 10.
