Ukrainian intelligence officers from the “Timur Special Unit” of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine conducted a successful operation on the islands of the former Kakhovka reservoir and installed the national flag there.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Military Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

According to the department, fighters from the “Brotherhood” unit, which is part of the “Timur Special Unit”, conducted a reconnaissance and sabotage operation in the so-called “gray zone” – in the “Velyki Kuchugury” area, located approximately 7 kilometers from the coastline.<\/p>\n

During the operation, the Ukrainian military discovered and eliminated two Russian occupiers, after which they raised the blue-and-yellow flag over the territory and took control of the islands.<\/p>\n

“Our fighters continue to drive the enemy out of all Ukrainian lands,” the GUR noted.<\/p>\n

As reported, on the night of November 2 , special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate destroyed expensive Russian air defense facilities in temporarily occupied Crimea.<\/a><\/p>\n
