President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Defense Forces continue to destroy Russian occupiers in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said<\/span><\/a> this<\/span> in an evening video address.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, the president praised the special forces of the Central Military District “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine. According to him, it is they who systematically and effectively destroy enemy personnel and their equipment in and around Pokrovsk.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukrainian units fighting in the Pokrovsky direction also have the necessary results.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur assault units, our operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces, our soldiers of the National Guard, the Military Law Enforcement Service, the Military Police, and, of course, all of our brigades that defend the Donetsk region. Thank you to all of you!\u201d he summed up.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is known that Russian occupation forces are increasing pressure in the Pokrovskoye direction<\/a> , in particular, the situation in the city remains complex and dynamic.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Russian troops are actively strengthening their positions in Pokrovsk and accumulating resources capable of conducting surveillance and striking the entire settlement.<\/a> Control over key approaches to the city has not yet been achieved, which poses a serious threat to Ukrainian defenders.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that there is no encirclement or blockade of Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsko-Myrnograd agglomeration.<\/a> The situation in the direction remains difficult, but controlled.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that as of November 5, 2025 , about 1,200 civilians remain in the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region<\/a> .<\/p>\n
