In October, Chinese exports to Russia fell by 22%, the steepest drop in eight months.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This data <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/asia-pacific\/chinas-october-yuan-exports-russia-drop-most-8-months-2025-11-07\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was published by<\/a> Reuters with reference to the Chinese customs service.<\/p>\n<p> China&#8217;s exports to Russia last month totaled 60.46 billion yuan (about $8.5 billion), the seventh consecutive month of decline. Meanwhile, imports from Russia grew by just 2.5%, so even there the pace is slowing.<\/p>\n<p> Total trade turnover between the countries in the first ten months of the year decreased by almost 9%, to 1.31 trillion yuan.<\/p>\n<p> Analysts note that after a record-breaking 2024, when Beijing and Moscow actively praised a &#8220;partnership without borders,&#8221; the economic reality has changed dramatically.<\/p>\n<p> China is feeling the pressure of American sanctions and trade tariffs, while the Russian economy is choking under its own restrictions and lack of demand.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Sanctions are working.
