{"id":1317516,"date":"2025-11-07T20:16:49","date_gmt":"2025-11-07T18:16:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/a-local-ceasefire-was-established-near-the-zaporizhzhia-npp\/"},"modified":"2025-11-07T20:16:49","modified_gmt":"2025-11-07T18:16:49","slug":"a-local-ceasefire-was-established-near-the-zaporizhzhia-npp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/a-local-ceasefire-was-established-near-the-zaporizhzhia-npp\/","title":{"rendered":"A local ceasefire was established near the Zaporizhzhia NPP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Today, November 7, a local ceasefire near the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) came into effect, necessary to repair a damaged power line.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iaea.org\/newscenter\/pressreleases\/update-326-iaea-director-general-statement-on-situation-in-ukraine\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was reported by<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the IAEA press service.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In particular, demining work has already begun near the damaged section of the 330-kilovolt Ferrosplavna-1 line, the connection to which to the station was interrupted 6 months ago.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to preliminary information, repair work will begin on Saturday, and the facility will be connected to the station within the next few days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As noted, this will provide ZNPP with access to two power transmission lines after the repair of the 750-kilovolt Dniprovska line, which was disconnected for more than four weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The IAEA promised that their team, which is located at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, will monitor the repair work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> It was previously reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/boyovi-dii-mizh-rf-ta-ukrainoiu-mozhut-pryzupynyty-vidoma-prychyna\/\">the international community may soon announce a temporary cessation of hostilities<\/a> in the area around the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.<\/p>\n<p> We remind you that after lengthy negotiations between representatives of Ukraine and Russia <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/blekaut-na-zaes-mahate-povidomylo-pro-pochatok-pidkliuchennia-stantsii-do-enerhomerezhi\/\">, the process of restoring the connection of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant to the power grid has begun.<\/a><\/p>\n<p> As is known, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/blekaut-na-zaes-chomu-ryzyk-iadernoi-katastrofy-nadvysokyy\/\">the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) has been without external power supply for several weeks, which poses a direct threat to nuclear safety<\/a> .
