The enemy used over half a thousand airstrikes, resulting in casualties and injuries among the civilian population, including children.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/V_Zelenskiy_official\/16797\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was announced by<\/a> the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n<p> According to him, the massive shelling on November 8 caused serious damage to the energy infrastructure, leaving Kremenchuk and Horishni Plavni in the Poltava region completely without electricity.<\/p>\n<p> In response to the targeted strikes, Zelensky called on international partners to take a decisive sanctions response. &#8220;Every strike by Moscow on our energy sector must be met with sanctions across the entire Russian energy sector &#8211; without exception,&#8221; the president noted.<\/p>\n<p> The Head of State stressed the need for a European decision on the use of frozen Russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine. He also drew attention to the fact that Russia&#8217;s nuclear energy sector is still not under sanctions, and its defense-industrial complex continues to gain access to Western microelectronics.<\/p>\n<p> In addition to Poltava region, Kharkiv also experienced significant problems: the city experienced power and water supply disruptions, and the metro temporarily stopped working. In addition, debris from downed targets fell in 4 more locations.
