A massive nighttime missile and drone strike caused significant damage to the thermal power plants of PJSC “Centrenergo”, as a result of which the generating capacity of the enterprise was completely stopped. Restoration teams are working to eliminate the consequences, but currently there is no electricity production at the stations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> PJSC “Centrenergo”.<\/p>\n

The company noted that the stations were on fire as a result of the night strike. Repair crews are already working on site and are doing everything necessary to restore the infrastructure as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

The report emphasized that this was the most massive attack on the TPP since the beginning of the war. The enemy used an unprecedented number of missiles and a large number of drones, several of which were aimed at the same TPPs per minute.<\/p>\n

The company notes that less than a month has passed since the previous strike, and tonight there was simultaneous shelling of the entire generation. Because of this, the capacity is currently “stopped”.<\/p>\n

“Now – zero generation. Zero!” and it is noted that what was restored around the clock has been lost – “Completely!”, the company said.<\/p>\n

The appeal also reminded that thermal power plants are civilian facilities and do not produce weapons.<\/p>\n

“Our thermal power plants are not military facilities. We do not produce weapons! Civilians work for us,” the report says.<\/p>\n

PJSC “Centrenergo” emphasizes the complexity of the task of shooting down ballistic missiles and notes the scale of the attack. At the same time, the company assures that it will do everything possible to resume work.<\/p>\n

“We will do everything to restore what was destroyed as soon as possible!” the company added.<\/p>\n

The message concluded with a determination to continue recovery efforts despite the losses.<\/p>\n

“We will once again do what we do best, overcoming fatigue and pain from losses: restore, repair and introduce new generation!”, – concluded Centrenergo.<\/p>\n

By the way, on the night of Saturday, November 8, Russia carried out another massive missile and drone strike on the territory of Ukraine. The railway infrastructure suffered the most<\/a> – stations, contact networks, and locomotive depots were damaged in several regions.<\/p>\n
