Due to Russian shelling, the Ukrainian power system is experiencing significant loads, so electricity consumption restrictions will be in effect today and tomorrow. According to the forced outage schedules, the reduction in electricity supply affects both residential and industrial consumers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is noted that today, November 8, measures to limit electricity consumption will be applied until the end of the day due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by enemy shelling. Consumers are recommended to use electricity economically during peak hours.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow, November 9, in most regions of Ukraine, electricity consumption restrictions will be in effect according to the following schedule: from 00:00 to 23:59 for household consumers in the amount of 2 to 4 shifts.<\/p>\n

For industrial consumers, power restrictions will also be in effect from 00:00 to 23:59.<\/p>\n

The timing and scope of restrictions may vary depending on the situation in the power system. Consumers are advised to follow updates on the official websites of the regional energy authorities in their region and use electricity sparingly during scheduled supply.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that a massive nighttime missile and drone strike caused significant damage to the thermal power plants of PJSC “Centrenergo”<\/a> , as a result of which the generating capacity of the enterprise was completely stopped. Restoration teams are working to eliminate the consequences, but currently there is no electricity production at the stations.<\/p>\n

By the way, on the night of Saturday, November 8, Russia carried out another massive missile and drone strike on the territory of Ukraine. The railway infrastructure suffered the most<\/a> – stations, contact networks, and locomotive depots were damaged in several regions.<\/p>\n

We would like to remind you that rescue operations are ongoing in many Ukrainian cities as a result of Russia’s massive nighttime attack.<\/a> The enemy used over half a thousand airstrikes, which resulted in casualties and injuries among the civilian population, including children.<\/p>\n
