Search and rescue operations have been completed in Dnipro after a nighttime strike by Russian troops on a high-rise building on Heroes Avenue. The attack killed three people and injured 12 others, including two children.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service<\/a> of the State Emergency Service.<\/p>\n

“Three people died as a result of the Russian attack. My sincere condolences to the families. Wishing the injured a speedy recovery,” said<\/a> the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk.<\/p>\n

Over 100 rescuers and 28 pieces of State Emergency Service equipment worked to eliminate the consequences of the Russian shelling. An enemy drone destroyed apartments from the fourth to sixth floors of a nine-story building.<\/p>\n

Due to the destruction, residents of 72 apartments will be displaced, and 54 homes will be dismantled. The city authorities have promised to help people with temporary housing.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a> Mayor Borys Filatov, more than 1,200 windows have been broken in Dnipro, roofs and interpanel seams have been damaged. Heating is also being restored in the Prydniprovsk and Sonyachny residential areas.<\/p>\n

An aid headquarters has been organized at 38 Heroiv Avenue, in Lyceum No. 130. Owners of damaged housing are advised to contact the Sobornyi district administration to submit documents for the state program “eRecovery”.<\/p>\n
