The European Commission warns that Russia poses a nuclear threat by launching massive attacks on Ukraine\u2019s energy infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

European Commission spokeswoman Anitta Gipper highlighted the danger of Russian strikes during a briefing with journalists in Brussels.<\/p>\n

She stressed that Putin is deliberately targeting Ukraine\u2019s critical infrastructure, including substations that supply electricity to nuclear power plants.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese massive attacks have caused disruptions to electricity, water, and heating supplies and have also endangered nuclear safety,\u201d Gipper noted.<\/p>\n

She added that the European Union continues to impose sanctions on Russia and provides support to Ukraine in both the energy and military sectors.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are also working with partner countries to mobilize additional assistance and support Ukraine, which remains the largest recipient of our energy-sector aid,\u201d she confirmed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
