On Monday, November 10, the Verkhovna Rada submitted draft resolutions seeking the dismissal of the ministers leading the Justice and Energy departments, citing corruption, ties to traitors, and failure to fulfill official duties.<\/strong><\/h6>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> on the BP website.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, the draft resolutions concern the dismissal of Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko and Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk.<\/p>\n

The initiative was submitted by Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a member of parliament from Holos.<\/p>\n

On his Telegram channel, Zheleznyak explained that the reasons for proposing Halushchenko\u2019s dismissal include systemic corruption, failure to prepare the energy sector for protection, and ties to former Ukrainian People’s Deputy\u2014now Russian Federation senator\u2014Andriy Derkach.<\/p>\n

Hrynchuk is proposed for dismissal because she allegedly represents the interests of Mindich within the government.<\/p>\n

The deputies are expected to consider the draft resolutions at the next parliamentary session on November 18.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, NABU and SAPO are conducting a large-scale operation “Midas” to expose corruption in the energy sector<\/a>. According to the investigation, the activities of a high-level criminal organization were established, which controlled financial flows and personnel decisions in state energy structures.<\/p>\n

It is known that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau exposed an office in downtown Kyiv<\/a> through which those involved in a corruption scheme in the energy sector legalized illegally obtained funds.<\/p>\n

The investigation concerns corruption schemes in the energy sector<\/a>, which, according to the investigation, have been operating for a long time.<\/p>\n
