{"id":1319182,"date":"2025-11-11T20:18:30","date_gmt":"2025-11-11T18:18:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/former-minister-chernyshov-was-informed-of-a-new-suspicion-what-is-he-accused-of\/"},"modified":"2025-11-12T07:03:26","modified_gmt":"2025-11-12T05:03:26","slug":"former-minister-chernyshov-was-informed-of-a-new-suspicion-what-is-he-accused-of","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/former-minister-chernyshov-was-informed-of-a-new-suspicion-what-is-he-accused-of\/","title":{"rendered":"Ex-Minister Chernyshov Under Fire: New Corruption Allegations Revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6 class=\"sr-only\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">NABU and SAPO have officially accused former Deputy Prime Minister Chernyshov of illegal enrichment, raising fresh corruption allegations.<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/nabu.gov.ua\/news\/kolyshn-omu-vitcepremyer-ministru-povidomleno-pro-pidozru-u-nezakonnomu-zbagachenni\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was reported by<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the press service of the anti-corruption bureau.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"175\">Although NABU has not officially named the individuals involved, the former Minister of National Unity and Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov is reportedly implicated.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"177\" data-end=\"309\">Anti-corruption detectives documented that the suspect and his proxy received over 1.2 million USD and nearly 100,000 EUR in cash.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"311\" data-end=\"418\">It was noted that he visited the so-called \u201claundry room,\u201d where illegally obtained funds were laundered.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"420\" data-end=\"557\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The agency added that the individual is already suspected of abuse of office and obtaining illegal benefits on an especially large scale.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, NABU and SAPO documented how <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/uchasnyky-koruptsiynoi-skhemy-peredavaly-hroshi-kolyshnomu-ministru-pro-koho-ydetsia\/\">participants in a corruption scheme in the energy sector transferred money to the former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/operatsiia-midas-tryvala-ponad-rik-nabu-opryliudnyly-pershi-audiozapysy-fihurantiv-koruptsii-v-enerhetytsi\/\">NABU and SAPO are conducting a large-scale operation &#8220;Midas&#8221; to expose corruption in the energy sector<\/a>.
