Germany will allocate an additional \u20ac40 million to support Ukraine this winter due to damage to energy infrastructure due to Russian shelling.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by<\/a> Foreign Minister Johann Vaddeful, reports<\/p>\n

As the minister noted, these funds will help provide Ukrainians with heat and electricity, as well as support the morale of the population during attacks on gas and heating networks.<\/p>\n

“The goal of the assistance is to ensure that the people of Ukraine remain safe and comfortable even during enemy strikes, and that the country’s defenders feel supported,” Vadeful noted.<\/p>\n

The funding includes repairing heating systems, restoring damaged buildings, purchasing generators, and distributing humanitarian aid, including blankets, hygiene items, and other essential items.<\/p>\n

Recall that the German government intends to expand the volume of military assistance to Ukraine in 2026 by an additional 3 billion euros, bringing the total amount to over 11.5 billion euros.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, Germany is allocating \u20ac60 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund to strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructure.<\/a> The funds will help accelerate the delivery of generators, energy equipment, and mobile thermal power plants.<\/p>\n
