On Wednesday, November 12, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court will choose a preventive measure for Igor Fursenko, who is suspected of participating in a corruption scheme at Energoatom.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This became known from<\/span> the live broadcast<\/span><\/a> of VAKS.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the tapes released by NABU as part of Operation Midas, Fursenko appears under the code name “Ryoshik”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, journalists from \u201cSchemes\u201d found out<\/a> that anti-corruption authorities call him a \u201cback office\u201d accountant.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fursenko is registered as a private entrepreneur whose main activity is consulting on informatization issues. In the released tapes, he complained that carrying a box of money is \u201csuch a pleasure.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, NABU and SAPO are conducting a large-scale operation “Midas” to expose corruption in the energy sector<\/a> . According to the investigation, the activities of a high-level criminal organization were established, which controlled financial flows and personnel decisions in state energy structures.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office reported suspicions against 7 individuals<\/a> involved in a large-scale corruption scheme at JSC NNEGC Energoatom. <\/p>\n

Previously, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a participant in a corruption scheme<\/a> in the energy sector – Executive Director for Physical Protection and Security of Energoatom, Dmytro Basov.<\/div>\n

At the same time , the Supreme Court of Ukraine decided to detain the former advisor to the Minister of Energy, Ihor Myronyuk<\/a> , who is suspected of participating in a corruption scheme at Energoatom.<\/div>\n
