And this turbulence threatens to destroy our state. Because the enemy has not gone anywhere, and corruption is destroying the country from within. Chaos in the energy sector, embezzlement, schemes, and undermined trust of allies are as dangerous as Russian missiles and drones. This growing crisis requires an immediate response and the unification of all healthy forces of society,” the fifth President wrote.

“Throughout our history, in the most difficult times, it was the parliament that took responsibility and stood up for the Constitution and statehood. Today, deputies from different factions have a chance to take a historic step — to stop the chaos that is destroying the country and return a sense of justice to Ukrainians. That is why “European Solidarity” is initiating the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers. Half-measures will not help, and cosmetic painting of stains will not save. Resigning two ministers every week will not help, including the new figures in the films,” Poroshenko emphasized.

“We face three key challenges. The first is the Russian occupiers, who are heroically restrained by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But the army needs motivation, and also modern weapons, drones, missiles and, ultimately, trust in the government. The second challenge is the threat of a rollback of democracy and freedom of speech. We cannot talk about elections now, because there will be only one winner in them – Putin. But restoring the subjectivity of the parliament as a key representative body elected by the people of Ukraine is now a key task. This is a sign of a strong democracy. It is the Verkhovna Rada that is obliged to restore full parliamentary control over the executive branch and stop the destruction of the foundations of the state,” the opposition leader is convinced.

“The third challenge is Ukrainian corrupt people who are spreading throughout the entire vertical of power. They are not just robbing a bleeding country – they are destroying trust within the state and from the outside. They are destroying the trust of allies, the trust of our international partners,” Poroshenko warned.

“What should be done immediately? What is done in democratic countries in such situations. The compromised government should resign, and the parliament should form a new coalition. Which, in turn, will appoint a government – not according to the criteria of personal loyalty or political affiliation, but on the basis of professionalism, patriotism and responsibility. A government capable of confronting the challenges facing the state,” he explained.

“We cannot underestimate the scale of the erosion of trust in the government by the people and trust in Ukraine by partners. This decline can be stopped by clear steps to remove all corrupt people from power. Otherwise, we may be left alone with the enemy,” the fifth President noted.

“Mindichgate” is also a betrayal of the military. Therefore, the authorities (both the Office of the President and the monomajority) must bear political responsibility for their appointments. It is already too late and not enough to make scapegoats out of individual ministers, even guilty ones. This is a cosmetic procedure that should not mislead anyone. And isn’t it a comedy when now four members of the National Security and Defense Council, who appear on the tapes, will impose sanctions against their criminal accomplices, who have already managed to escape,” Poroshenko noted.

“Only the resignation of the entire government is the minimum necessary step that will show that the state mechanism is capable of cleansing itself. And although voices are heard from the mouthpieces of Bankova that these topics should be raised after the victory, no. We need to act now – for the sake of Victory,” the people’s deputy summed up.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , Twitter , Telegram , and Instagram.

Against the backdrop of a high-profile corruption scandal in power, Petro Poroshenko called on the parliament to regain its subjectivity, form a responsible coalition, and approve a new composition of a professional, responsible Cabinet of Ministers.
