Today, November 12, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court imposed a preventive measure on Igor Fursenko (“Ryoshika”), a suspect in the “Midas” case.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This became<\/span> known<\/span><\/a> from the live broadcast of VAKS.<\/span><\/p>\n

By court decision, the defendant was sent to custody for 60 days – until January 8, 2026 inclusive.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prosecutors requested an arrest with the possibility of posting bail of over 200 million hryvnias, however, the court set its amount at 95 million hryvnias.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fursenko himself stated that he had no money to pay bail. In addition, he explained that not all the money found at his home belonged to him. Some of it was allegedly intended for the treatment of his father’s illness.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, NABU and SAPO are conducting a large-scale operation “Midas” to expose corruption in the energy sector<\/a> . According to the investigation, the activities of a high-level criminal organization were established, which controlled financial flows and personnel decisions in state energy structures.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office reported suspicions against 7 individuals<\/a> involved in a large-scale corruption scheme at JSC NNEGC Energoatom.<\/p>\n

Previously, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a participant in a corruption scheme<\/a> in the energy sector – Executive Director for Physical Protection and Security of Energoatom, Dmytro Basov.<\/p>\n

At the same time , the Supreme Court of Ukraine decided to detain the former advisor to the Minister of Energy, Ihor Myronyuk<\/a> , who is suspected of participating in a corruption scheme at Energoatom. <\/p>\n
