Ukraine is being warned of the most dangerous winter since the full-scale war – financial, military and energy crises are escalating at the same time. The situation could turn critical.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On the financial front, Ukraine risks running out of resources in February 2026 unless the EU unblocks a plan to raise 140 billion euros through frozen assets of the Russian Central Bank. Belgium and Slovakia are opposed, and the US has cut financial support since Donald Trump took office. Corruption scandals within Ukraine only add to the arguments of critics of the aid.<\/span><\/p>\n

The military situation is escalating around Pokrovsk – its possible fall could open the way for the Russians to Kramatorsk and Sloviansk. Some politicians and experts speak of tactical errors by the command and a lack of reserves: in some areas of the front, the ratio of forces reaches 1 to 10.<\/span><\/p>\n

The energy situation is also critical: Russia has launched systematic attacks on gas infrastructure. Ukraine has temporarily lost up to a third of its gas production, and the risks of being left without heat this winter have increased significantly.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Ukrainians were urged to save gas due to Russian attacks.<\/a><\/p>\n
