On the night of November 14, Kyiv experienced a large-scale combined drone and missile attack. The shelling killed one person, injured more than two dozen others, and caused numerous fires and significant destruction in various areas of the capital.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The events were reported by<\/a> the State Emergency Service and the city authorities.<\/p>\n

Rescuers said one person was killed and more than 15 others were injured in the overnight strike. 40 people were rescued during the cleanup efforts. <\/p>\n

Head of the KMVA Timur Tkachenko confirmed the death and specified that the number of injured people had increased to 24 people. <\/p>\n

Russian forces launched a massive attack on the evening of November 13, launching groups of drones into Ukraine. With the dawn of a new era, the drones were directed at Kyiv. In parallel, the enemy used cruise missiles, probably of the “Caliber” type, as well as ballistic and aeroballistic missiles “Dagger”, which the Russians launch from MiG-31K aircraft. <\/p>\n

Dniprovskyi district<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here, firefighters extinguished the fire in two apartments on the first floor of a five-story building (the area of the fire was about 50 m\u00b2) and evacuated 17 residents from the danger zone.
At another address, a 30 m\u00b2 area caught fire, and partial damage was found on the upper floors (19th and 21st). The wooden buildings of the sports center, covering an area of approximately 200 m\u00b2, also burned down.<\/p>\n

Desnianskyi district<\/strong><\/p>\n

A flat on the seventh floor of a high-rise building caught fire. The fire was quickly contained, rescuers helped nine people and evacuated another fifty.
In another building, apartments between the 5th and 8th floors caught fire. One person died there. Emergency workers rescued 14 people, including a child, and another victim was freed from the rubble.<\/p>\n

Sviatoshynskyi district<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enemy ammunition also hit this area, damaging an apartment on the seventh floor of a high-rise building.
In addition, a fire broke out in a 22-story building on the 19th floor, and the fire has been extinguished.<\/p>\n

Holosiivskyi district<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here, the debris of the drone fell on the territory of a medical facility. Firefighters also extinguished the fire in a separate building with an area of about 15 m\u00b2.<\/p>\n

Obolonskyi district<\/strong><\/p>\n

A missile\/drone flew into a nine-story building, causing a fire of almost 100 m2 in several apartments at once – from the 7th to the 9th floors. One person was rescued, the fire was extinguished.<\/p>\n

Podilskyi district<\/strong> : a residential building was damaged on the 15th floor, 13 people were evacuated and rescued.<\/p>\n

Darnytskyi district<\/strong> : fire with an area of 5 m\u00b2 on the territory of an educational institution.<\/p>\n

Solomyanskyi district<\/strong> : the roof and fifth floor of a high-rise building were on fire, rescuers rescued 20 people.<\/p>\n

Shevchenkivskyi district<\/strong> : fire in an open area extinguished.<\/p>\n

The State Emergency Service emphasizes that data on damage and casualties continue to be clarified, and all services are working on the ground.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of November 13 , Russian strike drones struck the city of Artsyz in the Odessa region.<\/a><\/p>\n
