On the night of November 14, Ukrainian troops launched successful strikes with “Long Neptune” missiles on targets in Russia, responding to a massive enemy missile attack.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced<\/a> by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy after receiving reports from the Commander-in-Chief and Commander of the Air Force.<\/p>\n

“This night, our soldiers successfully used “Long Neptunes” on designated targets on the territory of Russia – and this is our just response to the ongoing terror,” Zelenskyy emphasized.<\/p>\n

The Head of State added that Ukrainian missiles are demonstrating increasing accuracy and range, and each strike strengthens the country’s defense capabilities.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the president reported that Ukrainian air defenses repelled a night attack by Russian missiles, neutralizing 14 targets, including two aeroballistic and six ballistic. “Our Patriots and other air defense systems worked without failures, and we will continue to strengthen this component to protect the skies of Ukraine,” Zelensky noted.<\/p>\n

The Head of State emphasized that Russia continues its terror against Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure, and the main targets that night were residential areas of Kyiv and energy facilities.<\/p>\n

Recall that on the night of November 14 , two Russian cities \u2014 Novorossiysk and Saratov \u2014 were hit by unknown drones<\/a> . Explosions and large fires were recorded in ports and industrial facilities, and local authorities confirm the destruction of infrastructure.<\/p>\n

As reported, on the night of November 14, Russia launched a massive strike on Ukraine, using 19 missiles and over 430 drones. Air defenses shot down most targets, but missile hits and 23 drones were recorded at 13 locations.<\/a><\/p>\n
