Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev condemned Russia’s overnight strike on Ukraine, which damaged the Azerbaijani embassy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He stated<\/a> this during a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that he had a conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. He thanked him for the expressed support and condolences.<\/p>\n

According to him, last night Russian forces used hundreds of drones and missiles, including ballistic missiles, against Ukraine. The attack resulted in destruction and damage to facilities, including the Azerbaijani embassy building.<\/p>\n

“I spoke with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Thank you for your support and sympathy for our people,” Zelensky noted.<\/p>\n

He also added that the President of Azerbaijan condemned the strike and emphasized that this is not the first time that Russian units have targeted a diplomatic building and other facilities related to Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

During the conversation, the presidents discussed the development of bilateral relations and further cooperation between the countries.<\/p>\n

“There is indeed a green light for all areas of bilateral cooperation. There is good potential, and we will realize it,” the President of Ukraine emphasized.<\/p>\n

By the way, the death toll in the capital after the massive combined Russian attack continues to rise<\/a> . As of now, five people have been confirmed dead in Kyiv.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of November 14, Kyiv experienced a large-scale combined attack by drones and missiles.<\/a> The shelling killed one person, injured more than two dozen others, and caused numerous fires and significant destruction in various areas of the capital.<\/p>\n

It later became known that three people were killed, 26 residents were injured, and heating networks, houses, and partially public transport were damaged.<\/a><\/p>\n
