Iran no longer enriches uranium at any of its facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated this, AP<\/em> reports.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He said enrichment was halted due to damage to nuclear capacity following strikes by Israel and the United States in June.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The head of Iranian diplomacy emphasized that all of the country’s nuclear facilities are under IAEA control and operate transparently:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“There is no undeclared nuclear enrichment in Iran. All our facilities are under IAEA safeguards and monitoring. Enrichment is not currently being conducted, as our enrichment facilities have been attacked.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Following the June strikes, much of Iran’s nuclear fuel production infrastructure was disabled.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Despite the de facto halt in enrichment, Araghchi stressed that Iran’s position on the nuclear program remains unchanged.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Iran’s right to enrichment and the peaceful use of nuclear technology, including uranium enrichment, is indisputable. We have this right and continue to exercise it.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The minister also added that Tehran expects the international community, in particular the United States, to recognize this right and refrain from pressuring it:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope that the international community will recognize our rights\u2026 We will never give up our rights.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Araghchi confirmed that Iran is ready to return to dialogue, but only if its key demands are met, including full recognition of Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear energy and Washington’s abandonment of its policy of pressure.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Iran’s statement comes amid rising tensions in the Middle East and discussions over the future of the nuclear agreement, which has been effectively frozen since 2018.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that Iran has officially announced the suspension of the country’s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA \u2013 ed.)<\/a> .<\/p>\n

As reported, US strikes on Iran’s three largest uranium enrichment centers failed to destroy key elements of the Iranian nuclear program<\/a> . However, these strikes did delay the program’s development by approximately several months.<\/p>\n

Previously, the United States Air Force attacked Iran’s nuclear infrastructure<\/a> , including its most secure facility at Fordow.<\/p>\n
