Scientists predict that some regions will become much drier, while others, on the contrary, will receive more moisture and heat. Such trends can radically change the weather to which Ukrainians are accustomed.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"> <span class=\"s2\">This <a href=\"https:\/\/news.telegraf.com.ua\/ukr\/ukraina\/2025-11-17\/5925700-kavuni-rostimut-pid-kievom-a-pivden-peretvoryuetsya-na-pustelyu-intervyu-z-uchenim-pro-noviy-klimat-ukraini-ta-problemi-z-payami\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is reported by<\/a> &#8220;Telegraph&#8221; with reference to scientist Serhiy Avramenko<\/span> <span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"> <span class=\"s1\">According to Avramenko, the South and East of Ukraine are already moving into a warmer and drier climate zone. Snowless winters, long periods of heat, and lack of precipitation create conditions close to subtropics. If the trend continues, then in 10-20 years part of the territories of the Odessa and Kherson regions may be covered by<\/span> <span class=\"s2\">a semi-desert regime<\/span> <span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"> <span class=\"s1\">The scientist emphasizes: the zone of active hostilities has also significantly changed weather patterns. In 2022-2023, excessive precipitation was recorded there, and in 2024-2025, on the contrary, a severe drought.
