The investigation has identified the person behind the pseudonym “Professor” on the tapes appearing in the corruption case of Timur Mindich. Prosecutors claim that this name was used to hide the wife of high-ranking official Oleksiy Chernyshov, Svitlana Chernyshova.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported<\/a> by RBC-Ukraine from the hall of the VAKS.<\/p>\n

According to the investigation, it was Svetlana Chernyshova who received $500,000 for her husband from businessman Alexander Zukerman. To avoid detection, they used WhatsApp with encryption and arranged a meeting via the messenger. On May 9, 2025, the couple met at Zukerman’s medical center, where he transferred the money in his own office.<\/span><\/p>\n

Investigators explain that the pseudonym “Professor” did not arise by chance: Chernyshova has a scientific degree, is a Doctor of Philology and a professor at the Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.<\/span><\/p>\n

SAPO prosecutors have filed a petition with the High Anti-Corruption Court to arrest Oleksiy Chernyshov<\/a> , the former Deputy Prime Minister. As an alternative, they are offering a bail of UAH 55 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the Head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, also appears on the “Mindich tapes”<\/a> released by NABU as part of an investigation into corruption in the energy sector.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on November 10, detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine conducted searches at the home of businessman and co-owner of the \u201cKvartal 95\u201d studio, Timur Mindich<\/a> .<\/p>\n
