On the evening of November 17, Dnipro experienced a massive attack by “shaheeds.” One of the strikes damaged the building of the regional editorial office of the Public and Ukrainian Radio Dnipro.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Windows and doors were broken out, the ceiling and roof were destroyed, and a large-scale fire broke out. No employees were in the office at the time of the attack. Editor-in-Chief Yevhen Pedashenko says that a large studio on the first floor was damaged, and access to the second floor is now blocked. The team continues to work remotely and broadcast live.<\/span><\/p>\n

Editorial manager Kateryna Lysiuk said that the studio burned down completely and the extension was damaged. According to her, up to 15 drones hit the area. Part of the walls and ceiling collapsed, one of the company cars burned down, and the building remains dangerous due to a possible collapse.<\/span> <\/p>\n

The attack also damaged the Kontrabas film studio, which rented space in the same building. The sets, costumes, and equipment were destroyed. The studio’s co-founder, Oleksandra Teslenko, says that seven years of work and investment were completely destroyed.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Mayor Boris Filatov said the strike also damaged a television tower. He stressed that the attack was aimed at the city’s media infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n

As previously reported, Russia again attacked railway facilities in Ukraine, striking a suburban depot in Dnipro and a number of stations in the Kharkiv region.<\/a><\/p>\n
