During a statement by European Solidarity in the Verkhovna Rada, Petro Poroshenko harshly criticized the authorities’ attempt to “let off steam” from a corruption scandal by symbolically dismissing two ministers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fifth President stated that, given the challenges facing the country, an urgent reboot of the parliamentary coalition and the appointment of a new government is required.<\/p>\n

“Yesterday, we heard the continuation of the publication of the so-called ‘Mindich tapes.’ Yesterday, at the TCI meeting, we heard about ‘Elektronika’ from ‘Fire Point,’ who is embezzling funds from the defense budget. Yesterday, we finally heard about ‘Ali Baba.’ Did I get to artificial intelligence? ‘A character from an Arabian fairy tale accidentally learns a spell to open the treasury and becomes very rich.’ Furthermore, ‘Ali Baba’s name is being used as a pseudonym for the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine in connection with a corruption scandal.'” <\/p>\n
