These processes began in 2019, when the Presidential Office effectively seized control of parliament and the government,” the press service noted.

“It’s abnormal for a country that’s a candidate for EU membership to have political censorship. The Rada channel, which operated under Kinokita’s control all these years, and Kinokita is owned by Mindich and Karlsson, and they’re not ashamed. All of this poses enormous risks for the state today—losses for states,” the MP noted.

“Today, at the conciliation meeting, we were shocked by the position of the ‘servants,’ the parliamentary leadership. They want to talk about the issue and fire two ministers without reporting them. Even though we’re talking about horrific violations, about transferring funds to Russia during the war. These ministers were appointed without discussion, and these submissions were submitted by someone who does nothing.” We’ll dismiss the scapegoats. Somewhere along with “Karlson,” they’ll fly out of Ukraine without accountability.

She emphasized that if parliament is aware of its institutional weight, it needs to talk about rebooting the entire rotten system amid the war over a key program.

“Tightening the front, strengthening the army, supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, returning democracy, restoring freedom of speech, restoring parliamentary agency and the government’s responsibility to parliament, not to the likes of ‘Carlsons,’ ‘Alibaba,’ and so on. And it’s clear that in this context, the resignation of just two ministers means nothing,” Gera believes.

“Therefore, European Solidarity takes the only correct position here. We have called on the parliamentary leadership to immediately organize a meeting of the parliamentary faction leaders, not just Servant of the People, with Zelenskyy, who must acknowledge, and Stefanchuk must officially declare, that there is no such thing as a parliamentary mono-majority. This is obvious to everyone.”

“Third. This is the urgent start of consultations on the formation of a government of national salvation. Not a technocratic one, but an ideological, professional, patriotic, pro-Ukrainian, and pro-European government, whose activities must be based on a clear program: strengthening the army, restoring parliamentary authority and government accountability, European integration, and democracy.”

“It was our faction that began collecting signatures for the resignation of the Svyrydenko government, which is fully responsible for the ministers it nominated. As the former Minister of Economy, it is responsible for all the chaos that occurred at Energoatom and on these corrupt supervisory boards. And we want to thank all the colleagues we appointed here today. Two resignations of irrelevant ministers will not resolve the situation,” said Iryna Gerashchenko.

As a reminder, Petro Poroshenko, during his European Solidarity statement in the Verkhovna Rada, harshly criticized the government’s attempt to vent a corruption scandal by symbolically dismissing two ministers.

Also follow “Pryamy” on Facebook , Twitter , Telegram and Instagram .

At a briefing following the Verkhovna Rada meeting, Iryna Gerashchenko, co-chair of the European Solidarity faction, explained what the new government should look like.
