The situation on the front in the Zaporizhia region is the most difficult during the full-scale invasion: the Russian occupiers are trying to advance in the Orikhiv and Hulyaipil directions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov,<\/span> Ukrinform<\/span> reports<\/span><\/a> .<\/p>\n

Amid the difficulties for Ukrainian units, he announced reinforcements that should arrive within a week.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, the official emphasized that nothing significant has changed for the city of Zaporizhia over the past 3.5 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We directly inspected the defensive structures together with the military, worked out the way to increase them and worked out with the military how we should act directly in the direction of Malokaterynivka, Prymorske, Plavni, Kamianske and Hryhorivka, Komyshuvakha, so that the residents of the regional center, where 90% of the region’s population lives today, feel safe,” the head of the OVA said following the results of the trip to Malokaterynivka and Hryhorivka.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, Fedorov noted that he had a meeting with the General Staff regarding the security situation in the region. According to him, it is the most difficult in all time.<\/span><\/p>\n

He added that the Russians are trying to occupy the Hulyaipil community, where about 500 residents currently live.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The arrival of the president is a positive signal for us, we have received assistance, in 3-7 days we will receive even more military units of assistance in the region. Our task is to withstand the pressure that the enemy is exerting on the Zaporizhia region,” the message says.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recall that the Russian occupation forces have significantly expanded the “gray zone” on the front in the Zaporizhia region<\/a> , which may threaten Hulyaipole.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the situation on the southern front lines significantly deteriorated, as a result of which the Ukrainian military was forced to retreat from several settlements<\/a> .<\/p>\n

By the way, Russian troops are intensifying their offensive in the areas of Hulyaipol in Zaporizhia region<\/a> . The occupiers are taking advantage of the consequences of strikes on Ukrainian rear logistics and the complicated work of Ukrainian drones due to bad weather.<\/p>\n
