On Tuesday, November 18, 50 citizens who were deported from the United States of America returned to Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> by Suspilne with reference to the spokesman for the State Border Service, Andriy Demchenko.<\/span><\/p>\n

“50 citizens were returned from the United States of America through the Shehyny checkpoint on the border with Poland. They are documented with relevant documents regarding Ukrainian citizenship or return documents,” he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Demchenko noted that the United States had previously informed Ukraine of plans to deport a number of Ukrainians without American citizenship by transit through the territory of Poland.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the spokesman, at the checkpoint, the deported persons were registered for entry into Ukraine in accordance with the rules established by law.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Ukraine accepts its citizens in any case. The circumstances are currently being clarified due to which a decision was made regarding their forced expulsion,” Demchenko added.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump is preparing to deport Ukrainians<\/a> who have final removal orders.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Iryna Vereshchuk stated that Ukraine should prepare a social support system for refugees who plan to return from abroad.<\/a><\/p>\n
