The Russian occupation forces cannot dislodge the Defense Forces from Pokrovsk, so they are trying to bypass the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> in the 7th corps of the State Security Service.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unable to use Pokrovsk as a bridgehead to push through Ukrainian defenses, the enemy plans to reach the settlement of Hryshyne, located northwest of the city, in the short term.<\/span><\/p>\n

Enemy troops have already been spotted north of Pokrovsk, where they sought to infiltrate and gain a foothold at one of the agricultural facilities. However, Ukrainian defenders destroyed the occupiers there.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the month, the Defense Forces have eliminated 314 Russian army soldiers in Pokrovsk, and another 71 have been wounded.<\/span><\/p>\n

The military noted that the number of gun battles in the city is increasing and enemy losses from direct fire are increasing.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, the Russians are making attempts to break through the defenses of Myrnograd, trying to infiltrate the city from the settlement of Krasny Liman. The defense forces are destroying the enemy on the approaches to the city.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The other day in Myrnograd, Ukrainian military destroyed a group of the Russian GRU. Such enemy units move in the second echelon after sabotage groups and control the implementation of the tasks of the first echelon,” the 7th Corps said.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the main tasks of the Ukrainian military in Pokrovsk are to gradually take control of certain areas<\/a> , support and protect existing logistical routes.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the situation in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, remains difficult. Russian troops are seeking to create conditions there for a complete encirclement of the city<\/a> .<\/p>\n

As is known, Russian troops are actively strengthening their positions in Pokrovsk and accumulating resources<\/a> capable of conducting surveillance and striking the entire settlement.<\/p>\n
