On the night of November 19, Russian troops carried out a series of strikes on the western regions of Ukraine, in particular Ternopil and Lviv regions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Ternopil, rockets and strike drones hit the city. Local residents reported several explosions, and the authorities urged people to stay in shelters. According to the mayor of Ternopil, residential buildings, a high-rise building and other infrastructure were damaged, and there were civilian casualties. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service and doctors are working at the sites of the strikes, and public transport is partially disrupted, in particular on the “Sonyachny” massif. <\/p>\n

At around 07:10, the Ternopil OVA reported that the missiles were moving from the south to the west of the region, and the situation remains dangerous. The city mayor asked not to distribute photos and videos from the strike sites so as not to help the enemy.<\/p>\n

According to media reports, two people are known to have died as a result of the Russian attack on a Ternopil high-rise building. <\/p>\n

In Lviv region, Russian troops also carried out strikes with cruise missiles and combat drones. According to the head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytsky, an energy facility was damaged, as well as a woodworking enterprise and warehouses. A fire broke out at one of the facilities, which is currently being extinguished by rescuers. According to preliminary information, there were no victims or injuries, and life support systems in the region are operating normally. <\/p>\n

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi added that the thick smoke over the city was caused by burning tires in civilian warehouses. According to him, there is no information about injuries, and the smoke does not pose a health hazard. The mayor advised residents to close their windows.<\/p>\n

Thus, the Russian Federation’s night attacks on western Ukraine destroyed infrastructure, caused fires, and damaged residential and civilian facilities, but thanks to the rapid work of rescue services, serious casualties were avoided.<\/p>\n

In addition, Russian troops again shelled the Ivano-Frankivsk region, using various types of weapons. The main targets of the attack were energy infrastructure facilities.<\/p>\n

This was announced by the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Administrative District Svitlana Onyshchuk.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary information, three people, including two children, were injured in the attack. All are receiving necessary medical assistance.<\/p>\n

In addition, damage was reported to one residential building in the Ivano-Frankivsk district. Authorities are urging local residents to follow safety measures and pay attention to air raid warnings.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of November 19, Russian troops carried out a massive drone attack on Kharkiv, which resulted in the injury of more than three dozen civilians, including two children.<\/a><\/p>\n
