The Russian strike on residential areas of Ternopil on the morning of November 19 led to tragic consequences: 10 people were killed and 37 others were injured, including 12 children.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the minister, two nine-story buildings in the city were damaged. One caught fire, the other suffered damage from the 3rd to the 9th floor. As of 10:00, 10 people were killed and 37 injured, including 12 children. <\/p>\n

Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko held an online meeting with ministers and leaders of Ternopil, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. She heard reports on the consequences of the attack and the progress of the liquidation work.<\/p>\n

“Russia continues terror against our people and cities. My condolences to the families of the deceased,” Svirydenko noted.<\/p>\n

Rescuers of the State Emergency Service continue to dismantle the rubble and eliminate the consequences of the impact. Inviolability points are operating in the city, and additional infrastructure has been deployed: heating and food points for the victims. In parallel, investigators are recording the consequences of the crime.<\/p>\n

“The government is in touch with the regions and will provide all necessary assistance,” the Prime Minister added.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of November 19 , Russian troops carried out a series of strikes on the western regions of Ukraine, in particular on Ternopil and Lviv regions.<\/a><\/p>\n
