Rosneft’s Ryazan oil refinery, one of the largest in Russia, temporarily halted production after a Ukrainian drone attack on November 15.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to<\/a> Reuters sources, the plant will remain out of operation until the end of November, and scheduled shipments of petroleum products until December 1 have been canceled. The plant’s main unit, responsible for processing more than 8 million tons of oil per year (approximately 48% of capacity), has been completely shut down due to the fire.<\/p>\n

Earlier, on October 24, one of the units had already failed due to a drone attack, reducing the plant’s total capacity by a quarter. Its repair is not yet complete, and the rest of the equipment is also not operating at full capacity.<\/p>\n

In addition, from November 15, the plant temporarily suspended the sale of petroleum products on the St. Petersburg International Exchange.<\/p>\n

According to the results of 2024, the enterprise processed 13.1 million tons of oil, which is almost 5% of the total volume in Russia, and produced 2.2 million tons of gasoline, 3.4 million tons of diesel fuel, and 4.3 million tons of fuel oil.<\/p>\n

As reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Ryazan Oil Refinery in Russia, and also hit the Nebo-U radar station, a military echelon, and several areas of concentration of occupier personnel.<\/a><\/p>\n
