The Ukrainian parliament must regain its independence, acknowledge the absence of a mono-majority, and create a new coalition.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Iryna Gerashchenko, co-chair of the European Solidarity faction, announced this during her speech from the podium. The faction has been blocking the podium for the second day, demanding a report and the resignation of the entire corrupt government instead of the mere resignation of the two ministers who were scapegoats.<\/p>\n

“This is the agenda of a country at war, a parliament that is meeting for the first time in ten days. Two issues: the resignation of two scapegoats, for whose appointment this chamber bears full responsibility. “European Solidarity” wants to remind the chamber and the country that, during deep political crises, it has always been parliament that has assumed full responsibility for the situation in the country, and for that.<\/p>\n

“How can we get out of this crisis now? The first step is to restore parliament’s authority. Look at this hall, where fewer than a hundred people are gathered now. Is this the kind of group you’re going to use to get out of the crisis you’ve driven the country into?” the MP noted.<\/p>\n

“Second, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada must immediately declare the absence of a mono-majority. It doesn’t exist. It’s time to correct these mistakes. Third, it’s not just two scapegoats who need to be dismissed now, and in such a convenient manner. You appointed them without discussion, and now you don’t even want to look into the eyes of the people who questioned Ukraine’s support, who questioned Ukraine’s support, who questioned Ukraine’s support, who questioned Ukraine’s support, who questioned Ukraine’s support.”<\/p>\n

“You’re about to consider a budget in which a huge sum must be covered by external borrowing, which no one will provide now,” the faction co-chairman warns.<\/p>\n

“Fourth, you created a system whereby the Office of the President has been running the country for six years. Ali Baba, who failed the election plebiscite and was not elected by anyone. He, like Karabas Barabas, simply led you all these years. Our team, as responsible politicians, is truly extending a helping hand to the country first and foremost.” Irina Gerashchenko<\/p>\n\t

“We want to thank 70 deputies from all factions. European Solidarity in full, more than 20 from Servant of the People, for which we thank you. Holos, Batkivshchyna, and the independents who signed the government’s resignation. Ms. Svyrydenko should come here and submit. Look the country in the eye and see how it could have allowed such corruption on the supervisory boards it appointed.<\/p>\n

“I want to address each of you, colleagues\u2014this didn’t all start today. You remember how, in 2021, you voted for the Kino Kot company, which was given money by the Rada TV channel and which Mindich stood behind, introducing political censorship in a country that was moving toward the EU and NATO and should be developing.<\/p>\n

“European Solidarity’s demands are as follows: a report from Svyrydenko and the two ministers you intend to dismiss today, parliamentary independence, the announcement of the dissolution of the mono-majority, and the formation of a genuine coalition,” said Iryna Gerashchenko. According to her, after President Zelenskyy’s meeting with parliamentary faction leaders, a government of national salvation should be formed based on support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, European integration, democracy, and strong institutions. <\/p>\n
