Deputies from the Servant of the People party demand the restoration of the constitutional balance of power and strengthening trust in the institution of the President.<\/strong><\/p>\n

People’s Deputy Nikita Poturayev<\/span> wrote<\/span><\/a> about this<\/span> .<\/p>\n

\u201cThe power triangle: the President of Ukraine \u2014 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine \u2014 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine \u2014 must return to the framework of the Constitution of Ukraine and be built on the principles of a parliamentary-presidential republic,\u201d he emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

Poturayev stressed the importance of transparent and institutionally regulated activities of the Office of the President. In addition, it must be free from any informal influence of persons involved in corruption.<\/span><\/p>\n

The MPs made the corresponding statement against the backdrop of the investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau into the corruption scheme at Energoatom.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We appeal to Ukrainian civil society, Ukrainian media, as well as our international friends and partners to support this initiative as a necessary condition for continuing the joint struggle to preserve the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine,” he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, Poturayev stated that the “servants” propose to immediately begin negotiations on the formation of a new coalition in parliament and the formation of a new government<\/a> .<\/p>\n
